Gordon's Bay is south of Clovelly Beach and north of Coogee Beach. Its secluded location is created by the deeply incised gully and sheer sandstone headlands and make it a great spot for snorkelling. The first beach I actually swam in in Sydney and the second I've visited.
A small, quiet area with blue waters and sea-weed infested sand, the tall rocks make a great spot for sun-bathing and hanging out. The waters are a little bit rocky and slippery however it's well worth as the water is usually warm and serene.
Gordon's Bay is a really calm and relaxing place, I would personally go there often for a swim and hang out.
